Momentum Counseling and Consulting (MCC) is seeking motivated, curious, and reliable bachelor’s-level students to join our team as interns. This internship is intended for students seeking academic course credit through their academic program and is therefore unpaid. Applicants must be eligible to receive and complete internship credit through their college or university in order to be considered.
This internship provides hands-on experience in a professional mental health practice with exposure to both clinical support operations and business functions. Interns will contribute to meaningful projects that support organizational growth, client care operations, and internal systems while gaining real-world experience in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
This is an in-person internship based in Fort Collins, Colorado (2020 Caribou Drive).
Scheduling is flexible and coordinated based on student availability, academic requirements, and organizational needs. A consistent weekly commitment of at least 10 hours is expected to ensure continuity in projects and team participation.
Typical internship length: semester-based (10–16 weeks), with potential for extension based on program requirements and performance.
Interns will support a variety of projects and operational areas, which may include:
Interns will also:
Note: Interns will not provide clinical services or direct client care but may observe and support operational aspects of care delivery.
At MCC, interns are active contributors, not passive observers. We believe meaningful learning happens when students are trusted with real responsibility and supported as they grow through it. You’ll join a collaborative, mission-driven team that values curiosity, initiative, and professional development. Interns are integrated into our operations team and given opportunities to see how a modern mental health practice functions beyond direct clinical care.
This internship is designed to help you explore your interests, build confidence in professional settings, and develop skills that translate directly into your future career. We are committed to creating a supportive environment where interns feel welcomed, included, and empowered to learn through hands-on experience.
At MCC, we invest in early career growth because we believe the future of mental health care depends on developing thoughtful, capable professionals from the start.
If you’re seeking an internship or practicum experience that provides meaningful supervision, professional growth, flexibility, and real-world clinical experience, we’d love to connect with you.
