Clare Kerr

“No one understands what I'm going through.”

“It feels like I’m drowning.”

“Nothing is ever going to get better.”

You belong here.

Human beings are inherently dynamic and resilient, with the capacity to adapt, grow, and recover even in the face of life's challenges. I believe that the ability to navigate adversity, learn from experiences, and transform over time is a testament to the profound strength and potential we all possess.

My Therapeutic Approach

My approach is grounded in compassion, creating a safe, supportive space where you can explore your emotions, gain insight, and develop the tools you need to find relief and resilience. In therapy, I aim to uncover the various different "parts" of the self and assist clients in understanding those parts to integrate these aspects for greater self-awareness and balance. My passion is helping clients navigate internal conflicts, build emotional resilience, and cultivate healthier relationships with themselves and others. It’s not always easy to seek help, but you’ve made the choice to invest in yourself and your well-being, and that’s something worth acknowledging. I believe in your capacity for growth and healing, and I’m honored to be a part of your journey.

To see if we are a good fit, you can email, call/text me, or fill out this form to schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation. I look forward to meeting you.

My Supervising Approach

Growth as a therapist rarely happens in a straight line. It comes from difficult sessions, honest reflection, and the willingness to stay curious when answers aren't clear. My approach to supervision is intentional and collaborative. We start by setting shared goals and expectations, and I pay close attention to both your professional development and your well-being, since who we are inevitably shapes the work we do. Within a relationship built on openness and trust, we explore your cases, refine your clinical skills, and make sure the practical pieces, like documentation and ethical practice, are solid. I also stay committed to my own reflection and growth as a supervisor. I believe that when clinicians feel supported and challenged in equal measure, they are better able to offer that same presence to their clients.

More about me:

If you’ve found yourself on my page, I want to take the time to say hello and welcome! My name is Clare, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) here in the state that I was born and raised in, colorful Colorado. In my free time, I enjoy listening to good music, being outside in nature, cozying up with a new book, and moving my body through yoga. Throughout my life, I have always had a deep curiosity and genuine interest in understanding the complexities of the human experience. Being one of six kids, I grew up in a household that allowed me to practice my passion for understanding people. Humans are complex, but that’s what makes us so amazing!

My commitment and passion for helping people heal continues to grow daily. It is such a gift and honor to help my clients work towards healing. It would be a privilege to work with you and support you on your therapeutic journey.
