Our Mission

Mission Statement

Our mission at Momentum Counseling and Consulting is to create a client-centric experience that inspires hope, promotes wellness, and empowers individuals and families through compassionate, accessible, and evidence-based mental health care. We are dedicated to delivering ethical, effective, and empathetic services, providing clients with opportunities to embrace their strengths, navigate life’s challenges with purpose, and achieve lasting emotional well-being within a supportive and inclusive community.

What this looks like in practice

A mission statement only matters if it changes what happens when someone reaches out. This is where ours shows up.

Care that is easy to reach

Offices across Colorado, telehealth for people who cannot get to one, and appointment times that fit around work and school.

Therapy and psychiatry under one roof

Therapists and psychiatric nurse practitioners work in the same practice, so a client who needs both talk therapy and medication support is not left to coordinate between two offices.

Insurance accepted

We accept all major insurance plans, including Medicaid. Our billing team verifies benefits before the first appointment so cost is not a surprise.

Evidence-based and matched to the person

Clinicians are trained in approaches such as EMDR, CBT, and DBT, and the approach is chosen to fit the client rather than the other way around.

Our Values

At Momentum Counseling and Consulting, we strive to empower our team and clients through excellence, professionalism, and innovative approaches. We value fostering a healthy, accountable, inclusive mental health organization grounded in ethical practice, intuitive problem-solving, and continuous growth. Through collaboration, respect, optimism, and integrity, we equip our team to provide the services needed for individuals, families, and communities to thrive.

Excellence

Clinical work and administrative work are held to the same high standard.

Professionalism

Clear communication, reliable follow-through, and respect for every client's time.

Innovation

Practical problem-solving and a willingness to change how things are done when a better way exists.

Accountability

We own our outcomes and our mistakes, and we fix what is not working.

Inclusion

Care that welcomes people of every background, identity, and circumstance.

Ethical practice

Confidentiality, informed consent, and licensed, supervised care, every time.

Collaboration

Therapists, prescribers, supervisors, and operations staff work as one team.

Respect

Every client and every colleague is treated with dignity, and clients are the experts on their own lives.

Optimism

We believe people can get better, and we bring that belief into every session.

Integrity

We do what we say we will do, with clients, partners, and each other.

Continuous growth

Ongoing training, supervision, and feedback keep our care current.

Our purpose

To provide a life-changing experience to all through excellence and empowerment.
Recognition

Named to the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies

In 2026, Momentum Counseling and Consulting was named to the Inc. 5000, Inc. magazine's annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. Companies are ranked by revenue growth over a three-year period, and only independent, privately held businesses are eligible.
For a behavioral health practice, growth means something concrete: more clinicians, more offices, more open appointment times, and shorter waits for people who need care. Momentum began as a single office in Fort Collins and now serves children, teens, adults, couples, and families across Colorado.
We do not measure ourselves by growth. We measure ourselves by how quickly someone who reaches out can be seen and by how they are doing a few months later. Growth follows from getting those two things right, and this recognition belongs to the therapists, prescribers, supervisors, and operations staff who make that happen every day.

Who we serve

Children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Our providers work with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, substance use, ADHD, and relationship and family concerns, among others.
We have offices across Colorado and telehealth is available for clients in anywhere in the state.

Training the next generation of clinicians

Part of our mission is making sure there are enough well-trained clinicians to meet the need. We support clinicians with a dedicated operations team that handles scheduling, billing, and insurance for every clinician so that clinical time stays clinical.

We also want clinicians to stay. Momentum is built for long-term employment, with a clear ladder from intern to pre-licensed to licensed to supervisor. Many of our clinicians have climbed every rung of it here, and we hope you will too.
