                     Telehealth

What is telehealth therapy?

Telehealth therapy allows you to meet with your therapist virtually through a secure video platform. It offers the same quality of care as in-person sessions while providing the comfort and convenience of attending from your own space. Telehealth is safe, confidential, and an effective way to receive support without the need to travel to an office.

Where Should I Be During Telehealth?

During telehealth sessions, you should be in a private, secure location where you feel comfortable speaking openly. To protect your confidentiality, please avoid public spaces such as coffee shops, libraries, or shared areas. A quiet room at home or another private setting is ideal for creating a safe and distraction-free environment.

What Equipment Do I Need To Attend Telehealth Appointments?

To attend telehealth appointments, you’ll need a phone, tablet, or computer with video and audio capabilities. Make sure you’re in a private, quiet location with a reliable internet connection so you can fully engage in your session without distractions.

Are Telehealth Sessions HIPPA Compliant?

Yes, all of our telehealth sessions are HIPAA-compliant. We use secure, encrypted platforms to ensure your privacy and protect your personal health information at all times.

What If There Are Technical Difficulties During My Session?

If technical difficulties occur during your session, you can use a secondary phone line to contact your therapist. Additionally, your therapist and you will establish a backup plan in advance to ensure your session can continue smoothly or be rescheduled if needed.

Is Telehealth Covered By Insurance?

Yes, telehealth is typically covered by most insurance plans, but coverage can vary. We’ll check your benefits beforehand to confirm what your plan covers so you know exactly what to expect.
