“I feel disconnected from myself and others.”
“I am constantly trying to gauge the thoughts and feelings of those around me.”
“The pain of my past holds me captive.”
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
I believe you already possess the strength to create the life you envision, one that leaves you at peace and fulfilled. Taking this first step toward healing requires tremendous courage; therapy is a vulnerable process. As a counselor, I strive to foster a safe and supportive environment where you are able to discover alternative modes of being that are authentic, empowering, and meaningful. You are worth it!

My Therapeutic Approach
I recognize that no two individuals are alike, so my approach to counseling seeks to honor my clients’ distinct experiences and needs. At the same time, I like to incorporate SB-CBT and person-centered therapy into my practice when they are appropriate and relevant. Our thoughts and behaviors can have a powerful influence over our self-esteem, emotions, and relationships. . We will investigate your patterns of thinking and challenge those that are counterintuitive to your healing and growth. Additionally, we will identify your current strengths and their usefulness in meeting your goals. My hope is to equip you with new coping skills and tools that might help you to face and overcome life’s obstacles and build satisfying connections with others.
To see if we are a good fit, you can email, call/text me, or fill out this form to schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation. I look forward to meeting you.
About me:
I spent my early childhood in Omaha, Nebraska, before moving to the beautiful state of Colorado in 2008. Colorado Springs has been my home ever since! My aspiration to become a counselor developed when I was still in high school, as I encountered my own mental health struggles. I am excited to see my dream finally come to fruition and walk alongside other hurting individuals.
For the past year, I have worked at an assisted living facility, which I believe has given me unique insight into this population and the impact aging has on individuals and their families.
In my free time, I enjoy walking my three dogs, reading, listening to music, and watching documentaries/foreign television shows.
