“My work keeps me away from my family.”

“I can’t forget the things I have seen.”

“I feel like my job is my identity. “

Our first responders risk their lives to help others. The least we can do is make sure they have the resources they need to do their jobs.
— Ben Nelson

Being a first responder comes with demands and challenges that no one, other than fellow first responders, can comprehend. The familial challenges are also things that can be difficult to explain and understand. The long shifts, missed family gatherings, and traumatic experiences can create an abundance of emotions.

Here at Momentum, we have clinicians who know what it is like to be a first responder, as well as be a family member to a first responder. We are dedicated to helping those who help our community.

Together, we can work with you and your family on:

  • Anxiety

  • Becoming more present

  • Communicating more effectively

  • Creating a schedule

  • Depression

  • Difficulty sleeping and insomnia

  • Dissociation

  • Feelings of irritability

  • Processing past trauma

  • Panic attacks
