“My trauma is overwhelming.”

“My past haunts me.”

“I get anxious and upset for no reason.”

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or TF-CBT, can help. TF-CBT is an evidence-based treatment to help people recognize the impact of their trauma and begin to heal. TF-CBT uses the same tenets of CBT - understanding the relationship between stressors, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors - and applies a strong trauma-focused lens. Using TF-CBT, we can help you reconcile challenging behaviors and the traumas behind them.

TF-CBT is geared towards children, adolescents, and parents whose children have experienced trauma. Common problems of people who receive TF-CBT treatment include physical/emotional trauma, bullying, mistreatment from caregivers, illness, and death of loved ones.
