Every challenge is an opportunity for transformation; let’s embrace this journey together.

Welcome! I’m Casey, a dedicated Clinical Supervisor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Colorado, Connecticut, and Virginia. At Momentum Counseling and Consulting, I’m passionate about empowering individuals on their journey toward mental well-being and personal transformation.

I am passionate about:

My therapeutic approach

I believe therapy is an empowering adventure—one that invites you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a supportive and dynamic environment. Drawing from a diverse toolkit of evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, I tailor my approach to meet you where you are. Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, grappling with difficult emotions, or seeking a more fulfilling life, I'm here to guide you through the complexities of your experience.

To see if we are a good fit, you can email, call/text me, or fill out this form to schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation. I look forward to meeting you.

My Supervising approach

In my role as a Clinical Supervisor, I strive to foster a collaborative and enriching learning-atmosphere. I encourage supervisees to explore familiar methods while pushing beyond their comfort zones, emphasizing self-reflection and awareness. This journey not only enhances clinical skills but also deepens the understanding of personal biases and themes, enriching the ability to support clients effectively.

more About me:

I grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and graduated from James Madison University with a strong desire to make a difference. Taking a leap of faith, I moved to California, where I worked with students with special needs and discovered my passion for counseling families. I continued my education in Boston, gaining valuable insights into the challenges families face while supporting students. Since then, I have lived in five different states, which has allowed me to create a wonderful virtual practice and supervision model that I can carry with me wherever I go.

Beyond the therapy room, I embody the principles I teach—seeking experiences that spark joy and promote holistic well-being. I love reading fiction, psychology, and parenting books, experimenting with new recipes, and indulging in reality TV. My travels, including recent adventures in Spain, France, and Ireland, fuel my soul, and my adventurous dog, Bennie, has explored 23 states with me!
