“I’m not good enough.”

“I’m overwhelmed and I don’t know what to do.”

“I want to take control of my life.”

“I don’t know who I am.”

“Therapy is a gift. It is a chance to finally be heard, understood, and supported” -Bessel Van Der Kolk

I HEAR YOU.

My goal is to create a safe space in which you feel comfortable exploring all the different parts of yourself and learning what makes you who you are!

My Therapeutic Approach

I believe that therapy isn’t “one size fits all,” and each person should have an individualized experience to help them address their unique needs. My approach to therapy is holistic, collaborative, and humanistic. I incorporate ideas and practices from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and trauma-focused therapy.

I want to help you learn tools to manage negative thoughts, relieve stress, work through challenges, and set boundaries with others. Choosing to pursue therapy can be a difficult step and I would be honored if you allow me to walk alongside you on your journey toward wellness.

To see if we are a good fit, you can email, call/text me, or fill out this form to schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation. I look forward to meeting you.

About me:

I’m a Colorado native and grew up in the Boulder area. I’ve lived in several states for short periods of time including Alaska, California, and Pennsylvania. I moved back to Colorado permanently in 2020 and have resided in Northern Colorado ever since. I’m currently working towards my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Southern New Hampshire University.

I believe in the importance of creating equal access to mental health services, and have a passion for working with youth and individuals in the justice system. I have worked with children and adolescents in various settings including nannying, mentoring, tutoring, and mental health support. Prior to starting my journey to becoming a counselor I taught high school science and English at an alternative high school! In my free time I enjoy reading, baking, running, and spending time with my dog.
