My Therapeutic Approach

My approach to therapy prioritizes seeing, hearing, and accepting clients exactly as they are. I understand we are all products of our experiences: Therefore, I approach therapy with deep empathy and compassion, regardless of my client’s perceived pitfalls. I have had great success helping clients reflect on the impact of their experiences and using that insight as a tool for change.

I understand there is not a “one size fits all” approach to therapy. In order to meet the complexities of my client’s various needs, I draw from a range of trauma-informed modalities such as Person-Centered, CBT, DBT, ACT, Seeking Safety, and Solution-Focused. I am currently accepting new telehealth clients for individual therapy.

More about me:

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado, and I completed my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Regis University. I am originally from Nebraska, where I was raised on an acreage filled with all sorts of animals. After college, I spent a few years traveling, trying to figure out what was next for me. I then decided to pursue my passion for advocacy and human connection in the beautiful state of Colorado. My favorite ways to take care of myself include hiking, skiing, thrifting, DIY projects, and spoiling my two cats. It is my greatest accomplishment to be in this position where I am trusted to witness and honor your own unique journey.
